Dripping Springs Middle School Basketball Player Shelbye Daniels was the leading scorer in her game against Lake Travis on January 31st. Shelbye unveiled her new three point shooting form by knocking down 3 three pointers.
She has been diligently training with us through the season despite the same scheduling and fatigue issues all players face. Resiliency and putting in the extra work is paying off and we wanted to tip our hat to Shelbye for having the strength to put in the work, the resiliency to overcome confidence issues in shooting, and the courage to take big shots. Shelbye has always been a strong defensive presence and rebounder. She contributed 5 rebounds, 1 block, 3 steals and one charge as well as supportive team leadership.
Shelbye is a great example of someone who put in the work and had the courage to integrate her work into her game. The defensive and rebounding specialist is now a budding offensive star.
Great job Shelbye!
