Austin Youth Basketball is pleased to announce that Edwina Brown will be joining the coaching staff.  Edwina will be the lead instructor of our Girls Summer Camp and will also be available for specialty clinic workouts.

Edwina is returning from the playoffs with her professional team in Israel.  Edwina was recently inducted into the University of Texas Women’s Hall of Honor and holds many Longhorn basketball records. She was a two time All American and still holds a number of records including: 1705 career points, 517 career assists and 257 career steals.

Edwina, was the 3rd overall draft pick in the 2000 WNBA draft and played five years in the WNBA with the Detroit Shock and the Phoenix Mercury.  She serves as the Regional Director of the elite Lady Prodigy Basketball Camp.  Call Coach Chris Corbett at 512.924.4444 with any questions or to register for this camp today.  This Austin Youth Basketball Camp is sure to fill quickly.  It will be held at South Austin’s premiere fitness facility located at William Cannon and Mopac.
